ON THE GREEN HUMOR

Two men friends were playing golf and there were two ladies ahead of them that were kind of slow. One friend said to the other, “Why don't you go ask them if we can play through.” The friend said ok, he starts walking towards the ladies and as he gets close he turns around and comes back. The friend asks, “Why didn't you ask them?” The friend says, “That is my wife and my mistress.” The friend says, “Oh I'll go.” He gets close to the ladies and comes back. His friend says, “Why didn't you ask them?” His friend says, “SMALL WORLD.”

MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

Hi, I am Nancy Rodrigues, founder of Swingn Singles®. I want to thank everyone for still helping to have the Swingn Singles Family grow. Recently I was watching a TV program that said even in hard times it is very important for our health and well being to have a social life, be with family and friends, and have fun. The one thing I am especially proud of is that we all are great friends and truly care about each other. We are all especially happy that Jim Shugre is feeling better and playing golf again, and that Wayne Depaulo is now able to attend events again.

Ray Lopez was the winner on Bowling Night with the highest score. Congratulations Ray! The first dance was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to the next one being bigger and better. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who came and brought a quest. Thanks again to all the VIP Members you all rate way above par. We are family and I truly love you all.

I also want to give a special thanks to my daughter Kimm who puts in hours of work and makes our events a success, and gets very little credit, as well as Ingrid Anderson our web-master who up-dates the web every month and comes up with the great flyers etc. To my son Matt, who thanks to Swingn Singles, has come out of his shell, thank you. Matt loves being with all of you and playing golf, and he is even taking dancing lessons, he was a big hit at our first dance.

UPCOMING SUMMER FUN!

Our first Kick-Off Dance and Bowling Night were a great success. We are planning another bowling night soon and a dance in September.

Brenda Hollen has invited all members to a Pot-Luck BBQ at her house in August, after the scramble. We will have more information on this and other events on our website.
